What is a flame retardant Correx Plastic Sheets？

The flame-retardant coroplast sheet is produced by adding a flame retardant to the plastic raw material, and has superior performance to prevent combustion due to fire and avoid economic loss. There are several grades of flame retardant corrugated plastic sheets, which are selected according to customer needs. 

How to test the grade of the flame retardant correx sheets? 

The method is very simple. The fire-retarded corrugated plastic sheets can know the grade of the flame-retardant pp hollow sheet. The following are the types of flame-retardant pp hollow board that are identified according to the test results.

1. After two 10 second burn tests on the correx plastic sheets, the flame is extinguished within 60 seconds. There may be a coroplast sheet burning material falling off, this is a V2 grade flame retardant corflute sheet.

2. After two 10 second burn tests on the corrugated plastic sheets, the flame is extinguished within 60 seconds. There can be no correx sheets burning material falling down, this is a V1 grade flame retardant correx plastic sheets.

3. After two 10 second burn tests on the pp corrugated sheet, the flame is extinguished within 30 seconds. There are no pp corrugated sheets burning material falling off. This is a V0 grade flame retardant polypropylene corrugated sheets and the highest level flame retardant coroplast sheet.
